I loved the way the fan looked online and on the box when it arrived. Unfortunatley when it was hung it is so tiny. I expected a bigger fan, check your dimensions before you purchase.

Perfect outdoor gazebo fan

This fan is a show stopper. It graces my new deck gazebo. The design is really unique and goes beautifully with my old farm house. Nice and quiet, lots of power and the light dims to enhance the mood when bright just won't do. I especially like it because it hangs over a table and the breeze is perfect to control those pesky Summertime insects. Everyone comments on this fan. Yes!

Very unique and highly effective

As we replaced an old deck, we decided that we also wanted to replace the old outdoor fan overhead. After looking at the local hardware and appliance stores, we couldn't find anything that was unique and attractive. When we ran across the Minka Air Gyro online, we instantly knew that it was what we were looking for. The price was a little steep, but we went ahead and ordered it. Now that it is installed, we are very pleased. Friends and neighbors are raving about it!The only "problem: we find is the small slide at the bottom of the switch to turn it on is hard to use. Wish it stuck out a little further from the faceplate.Highly recommend this product.

Very nice if given 2 fixes.

It's a nice little fan with one small potential problem (see 4 star review by "Joe" and my comments to it). I've installed numerous ceiling fans and it takes time, even with these little ones...I installed two. The instructions are pretty bad but you should be able to figure it out. For that and the other issue I can only give 3 stars, though I would like to give 5.

Mini works!

We bought this fan for our nook area in our bungalow where our bed sits. I love it! My husband said the install went easy and it's very very quiet. As far as how much air it pushes we have a disagreement here. For a petite woman, it's just enough to keep me cool at night. For my husband, he thinks it's not enough. Overall it's the right fan for what we needed. Moving the air in that small space and cooling us down at night.

Casablanca ceiling fan

We are very happy with our new ceiling fan. It looks beautiful in our room and is extremely quiet and does not shake even when it is on the highest speed. The remote control feature is really great as well as you can change the speed and turn the light on without getting up from your seat.

a crucial glitch they don't bother to mention

We have been very happy with this fan, but here is some crucial information that they don't tell you:Apparently if you press two buttons on the remote at the same time the fan gets all confused and goes dead. (They don't tell you this in the manual). There is a restart procedure, which they ALSO don't tell you about:turn off power switch on wallremove batterywait at least one minuteput battery back inturn on power switchpush speed buttons on fan from low to high (not sure if the order matters)All of this came from a very helpful man at customer support, who seemed slightly baffled that they don't mention this in the instructions.

Classy fan that is whisper-quiet

Purchased this fan for our master bedroom. The previous Casablanca fan had gone on the fritz after over 20 years of use. This one arrived very quickly and was easy to assemble. It has a remote that can be left attached to the wall, or removed and used elsewhere in the room. The finish is very pretty and classy with an antique style. It looks really old, but isn't. The lighting fixture is nice-looking also. My only complaint is that our previous Casablanca fan had a greater range of fan speeds and this one has only a few fan speeds. It works for our purposes. I would recommend to anyone. The shipper was quick as well.

There isnt much to say. It's a piece of pipe to lower your fan away from the ceiling.I have a 17 foot vaulted ceilings that comes too close to the fan blades if left as they were. The fan needed to be lowereda few inches more than the downrod provided with the Hunter fan. This did the trick for me.It matched the bronze fan perfectly and was easy to install. These come in different lengths.Just measure carefully, and purchase the best one for you, so your fan isn't too low or high.

Hunter downrod weathered bronze

I ordered these downrods to match two ceiling fans we relocated in the house. They are Harbor Breeze brand and we could not find ANY downrods for that brand to match the finish. After much time looking online and at Home Depot and Lowes, I settled on these. Finding structural compatibility is no problem; the finish is the problem. These two are very close. I would have given a 5-star, but the picture online was lighter than in reality, so the downrods are a little dark, but at least with the correct finish.

Worked great with my Hunter fan

Just right

I chose this smaller sized fan to go in a medium sized bedroom. It is just right for circulating the air, creating a comfortable sleeping environment. It was pretty easy to install; the only hang-up was the screws to attach to ceiling bracket were too long and too fat. A trip to the hardware store for 2 screws solved that problem. The chrome finish is beautiful and I am happy with my purchase.

Cute fan!

The fan arrived right on time. My husband and teenage son installed it. It was very easy to put together and install. The light is good for a small/medium sized bedroom- it doesn't reach the corners of the room though. It puts off a decent breeze for as small as the blades are! It made a clicking noise at first but after running it for an hour that went away.

Buyer Beware!!!!

Bought this fan in October, installed it just before Thanksgiving and was pleased with the size and the appearance until the opal frosted glass crashed down the day after Thanksgiving. Thankfully, no one was in the kitchen at the time. Took two attempts to get a replacement but will be replacing it again shortly.One week before Christmas and one of the bulbs blew the socket. Short of re-wiring it, the fan is worthless without lights. Unable to contact Westinghouse, their "Contact Us" won't let my message through.If you don't have money to throw away; don't buy this product -- you'll be sorry. I am!

Very Coastal, Very Cute!

We used this for our fans out side in the lanai. They really look nice . They came quick . Less than a week. Packed in bubble wrap in good condition. We also bought the sea turtle. Each fan has 1 sea turtle and one Pelican. We like them and would recommend.

Wanted something that that would remind me of Florida, found it, it looks exactly how you would expect to see a pelican to look. Ordered 4 different ceiling fan pulls all were excatly like they were suppose to be. Just wish that more of these (pelicans, hyacinths, manatees, and killer whales). I bought these thru Amazon.com. My favorite was the Hyacinth Macaw, 2nd was the Pelican, 3rd Manatee, 4th Killer Whale.

Super quiet

We just moved and had to leave this fan behind, it was really nice, super quiet and energy star to boot! I wasn't in love with the glass globe, I prefer a bit of a swirl/design to it. We swapped out the globe from our old fan and made it a lot nicer to look at.
