Product Description
This Silo ceiling fan from Craftmade has exceptional air movement, contemporary styling, and a lifetime motor warranty. The motor is finished in brushed aluminum while the custom blades are black. A frosted white integrated down light includes one 26 watt CFL bulb. A remote control and one 2" and one 6" downrod are included.

Fan looks good for intended purpose, aluminum and plastic/resin blades allow it to sit outdoors and not rust or blades get deformed due to humidity and moisture. I bought this fan before moving to a new place, and around 3 months passed until I was finally able to install it. Everything came in the box looking good, but when I was hanging the fan I noticed that the blades did not spin freely, took it down and after disassembly I noticed that the shaft that comes out of the motor was bent a couple of millimeters, hard to notice for a naked eye but when you add the blades makes a huge difference. Called customer service and they said too long had passes since purchase, ok, my fault, when I opened the box everything seemed right.I had to walk the extra mile with the fan to fix the problem, now works fine, but the extra effort in heating and straightening the rod takes two stars out.Remote works perfectly, it is a nice fan, looks very nice once installed, works quietly, it is not too fast but it makes a nice breeze. I guess I just got the lemon of the batch.

This fan is exactly what I wanted. Something contemporary and classy. The light is not dangly....it's perfect for the lower colonial ceiling in my family room.
