This is a great fan, the only downside is that I didn't realize how big it is (my bad for not reading the description). Fan is 17" in height, which makes it hang kind of low on an 8 ft ceiling. Would have looked great in the room, but unfortunately we had to return it.

This fan makes a great addition to our kids room.The fan is very well made and runs very quietly. You can tell it has a high quality motor and bearings.The only negative is when we were installing it, we knocked the glass light cover which fell out and smashed on the floor. Thus make sure it is not mounted while you are hanging it.

The fan installs very easily, runs quietly and looks great. But, it was advertised as coming with a remote and mine did not. That was important to me and it ended up costing me another $40 at Home Depot for an aftermarket remote. Just be aware. Otherwise, it's a great fan for a kid's or play room.
