This ceiling fan is the best fan I have ever owned and over the last 30 years that has been a few fans. It is quite, very well balanced right out of the box and very powerful. It makes me feel great to know that at low speed it only uses 6 watts and in moves the air in the room just enough. On high speed it is like an ocean breeze. This is a simple fan to install, requiring only one 120v circuit for both the fan and light. The remote control works perfectly controlling the fan and light which is dimable separately. 6 speeds give maximum flexibility. This fan is a great buy at this price. Oh, the retailer was great to deal with as well. Quick shipping, delivered as advertised.

This is a replacement for a Sierra fan that had been running continuously for 25 years. Since the fan was to be mounted on a 14 foot ceiling, I wanted something that would be maintenance free. And quiet. This fan has met my requirements. It was easy to install, it is dead still - no wobble at any speed - it is very quiet - you can only hear the wind generated by the blades at speed, and it is very economical - only thirty watts or so at maximum RPM. Casablanca has a reputation for quality. The fit and finish on this model is excellent. I would recommend this fan.

Using this fan on a high ceiling (18ft). Working well...only has a remote, which I mounted on the wall with included holster. Getting the remote to activate the fan was different than the instructions. Had to hold down the set switch for 60 seconds instead of the instructed 5 seconds...then all worked fine.
