The fan is exactly what I needed, a fashionable piece that works. The fan is attractive and does a great job of moving air and keeping my living room cool and comfortable. The two blades gives it a clean, simple look and is really attractive while spinning. So many of the more modern looking fans are quite pricey, so this was a nice value for the style. I really like the look, no wobble, and very quiet just remember to use 2" screws during installation.Do yourself a favor and assemble everything then put it up and then connect the wires. Also, the dimmer works with the remote and it can go from soft and dim to nice and bright just by holding the button down.

This is a nice looking fan but doesn't move a lot of air. Also the light is small and has a focused beam. If you are going for looks and not as worried about the light then this fan will work for you.

Update: It's been a few weeks and the smell HAS NOT gone away. I think I will just take the light out because I think the odor is permanent.The good: Looks great. Really moves the air. NO noise at lowest speed, which is the speed I'll use most of the time as it is over my bed. The low speed will also be great when the a/c is on.The not-so-good: When you turn the light on, there is a truly AWFUL smell as the bulb heats up whatever nasty chemical is inside. Like rotten garbage. It's been over a week and the smell is finally going away. Also, there is NO room to hide the remote contraption, so it was a real effort to get the fan installed.
