Pretty nice fan, not bad performance for size, looks great

I really like the looks of this fan, and I've researched A LOT of fans, especially smaller ceiling-huggers. Kind of hard to find a stylish fan with a small blade span size that hugs the ceiling, but this fills the bill. Reasonably priced for the good quality of the fan. The housing has a vaguely 1920-30s quality to it which is really cool - combined with the more contemporary blades, the fan has an overall contemporary feel. The height of the fan worked well with the low ceiling height (7'4"), and the small blade span solved an issue with door interference. The room it's cooling is 11 x 12, and while I didn't expect a fan this size would move a TON of air, I do wish it was a little more robust, even though it wasn't bad - although maybe can't make a completely fair judgment since it's tough to compete with several days in a row of 100°+ weather, which was when the fan was installed (the fan was augmented by A/C somewhat, but we try to keep the A/C to a dull roar to keep the electric bill in check). Now that the weather has just recently normalized to the mid-80s/low 90s, fan performance might improve significantly, with or without A/C. Can't speak to ease of installation since I had someone install it for me, but the installer didn't seem to have any issues. In sum, pretty pleased with the fan so far.

Excellent Fan

If you're looking for a low-profile fan for a smaller room look no further. This ceiling fan is top quality. It's whisper quiet, even on high, and installs easily. The fan was perfectly balanced out of the box so you probably won't need the included balancing kit. For the price you can't beat it when compared to the lines at the big box stores. We plan to order another one for a different room. You won't be disappointed.

Just what I was looking for .

I made this purchase for a New Hunter ceiling fan . It was a simple hookup requiring only a couple of hand tools and it took me 30 minutes from start to finish. Part of that time was spent cleaning the fixture off after the install. Both the fan and light had a simple plug- male to female so it was a snap and it was wired. The reason I selected this light fitter was because it takes the ( Standard Edison Med. Base Bulb) So it gives me the choice of style of bulb. I have the lights on a seperate switch ( Dimmer ) . The fitter is of very good quality materal ,and is well constructed.

Looks much better that the one that does not have the metal tubes. The ficture comes with four 13 watt CFL bulbs. Has a chain operated light switch on the side. I mounted it on a Hunter Original fan, according to the directions it will also fit other Hunter fans.

This is a very nicely build fan light kit.Though there is not enough information in description,i bought it.I have a Hunter fan and this light kit fit very well on it.Looks very beautiful. As my stock light kit was not providing enough light i wanted to buy this.now i have good enough light in living room.

Just what I was looking for .

I made this purchase for a New Hunter ceiling fan . It was a simple hookup requiring only a couple of hand tools and it took me 30 minutes from start to finish. Part of that time was spent cleaning the fixture off after the install. Both the fan and light had a simple plug- male to female so it was a snap and it was wired. The reason I selected this light fitter was because it takes the ( Standard Edison Med. Base Bulb) So it gives me the choice of style of bulb. I have the lights on a seperate switch ( Dimmer ) . The fitter is of very good quality materal ,and is well constructed.

Hunter Fan Light

Looks much better that the one that does not have the metal tubes. The ficture comes with four 13 watt CFL bulbs. Has a chain operated light switch on the side. I mounted it on a Hunter Original fan, according to the directions it will also fit other Hunter fans.

This is a very nicely build fan light kit.Though there is not enough information in description,i bought it.I have a Hunter fan and this light kit fit very well on it.Looks very beautiful. As my stock light kit was not providing enough light i wanted to buy this.now i have good enough light in living room.

Nice fan for a small room

We bought two of these for rooms with low ceilings (less than 8'). The bottom of the motor is only about 6 1/2" below the ceiling when installed. The installation was easy and the manufacturer was kind enough to include a few extra screws and washers just in case. The fans are very quiet and will provide good air circulation in rooms about 12 x 12. Light fixtures are available, but we haven't tried one yet.

quiet but weak air flow

it's a good looking fan, silent, and great for a lower ceiling but it just doesn't move the air enough. i have a tiny bedroom and i sleep directly below it and i can barely feel a breeze at all.

Quiet, and brighter than most

This fan installed easily, and we are pleased that it is very quiet. We wanted as much light as we could get in a ceiling fan that looked good, and this fit the bill. The diffuser does a good job at preventing glare.

I purchased a Minka Airus ceiling fan from Light Brothers, (340 Lighting), through Amazon 10 weeks ago. One of the pieces of glass broke perhaps from the heat of the halogens after 10 weeks of use. (I own 4 others and no problems yet). Contacted seller through Amazon and they responded immediately and will be sending replacement glass within a week. Top notch customer service.
