The fan is attractively styled and performs well. Air movement is great while the motor is extremely quiet. Installation was simple and the kit came with everything typically needed, though I was lucky enough not to need the balancing kit. The included wall mount controller is nice and works exceptionally well, but be warned that it has a relatively bright LED that could be bothersome at night if visible from the bed.I also purchased the remote control and I am glad that I did.

The fan itself is beautiful! however a few important notes1.When installing the Bracket to the box, (electrical box in the ceiling) make a note that the fan bracket base has holes drilled to European spec. that means that you will need to either 1. modify your electrical box by drilling new mounting holes. or 2. drilling the fan bracket base to accommodate the american box. (we did the latter)2.The fan motor & housing itself are extremely heavy, its possible to do it as a one man job, but be completely ready to install it onto the fan mounting bracket as lifting about 25-35lbs over your head while on a ladder can be quite dangerous.Otherwise, this fan is absolutely great! high powered, silent, reverse mode, all built into the controller.and Thank God they did a 2X50 watt halogen bulb setup, this triumphs the Hunter garbage fan with the 3 x 15 chandelier bulbs by a million times!
