After much research this was one of the only brushed nickel energy star qualified fans that didn't cost $600. It took me about an hour to install-- I would love to see someone install it in 5 minutes. That said, coming preassembled definitely made it an easier task. I wasn't sure about the Blackened Rosewood since I couldn't find a picture of it anywhere-- but it's a deep espresso color that compliments my living room furniture beautifully. The fan is quiet and does it's job. My only wish is that it took normal lightbulbs.
