Use it to create a cooling breeze in the summer or to circulate warm air in the winter. The ceiling fan installs easily, and its Installer's Choice three-position mounting system allows for hanging the fan in a standard, flush, or angled position. Other highlights include a hands-free canopy, three speed settings, and a WhisperWind motor that ensures quiet, powerful performance. Even more, the ceiling fan comes with an optional two-light fixture, complete with a swirled marble glass shade and decorative finial. The light fixture uses two 60-watt incandescent bulbs (included) and comes with a matching cap/cover so that the fan can be installed without the light fixture if desired. Not hard to install, but when done noticed that too much of the light fixture was sticking out above the glass globe. This is very unattractive. Bought 2 of them, am returning one. Will try to make the threaded pipe shorter so that the glass globe will fit closer to the motor and cover where the chain comes out. I have several Hunter fans and this is the first bad experience.Also, description does NOT state that the 60 watt bulbs are candelabra bases.

We are very pleased with out Hunter Beachcomber fan. It was easy to install and we had no problems with it in the way the other reviewer mentioned. We would buy another one of these and would recommend to a friend. (And that's always a good review)

Just as described. It not only brightens the room but it runs so quiet that it doesnt interfere with sleeping!
