This fan, in nickel, came installed by the contractor, in our new home. We've had it for four years and are very impressed. Solidly made, noiseless and vibration-free. I couldn't ask for anything better. The only thing that it lacks is the Energy Star rating (although this listing says that it is rated). I was looking for a fan to install in one of the rooms that we use as an office. I was looking at expensive fans because I couldn't find the brand name for this fan. I found it on a different model fan in the Living Room (which also works beautifully). Now that I've found it I'll check Craftmade's product range before looking elsewhere.Bought it, in white, with matching attached light, had it professionally installed and it works as well as the others. We are very pleased and I am looking to install three in a house that I own that was destroyed by fire.
