After reading some reviews I bought this fan on Amazon. My installer had a minor problem getting something on and making it work, but since then it has worked like a dream.This thing is SILENT. When I got home from work the other night my wife was sleeping, so I went to turn the fan on only to find out that it was already spinning. Being able to control the dim on the light by remote is also awesome when you are in bed and want some light, but not the whole thing.This fan also looks very sleek on the ceiling with nothing hanging down off of it and nothing to pull, push or move.Very happy with this purchase.

I shopped all over to find what I needed in my new house and knew that Minka was what I wanted. Amazon was the quickest delivery and by far the best price.

I love the look of the fan in my son's room. It is very sleek. The ease of the remote for the light and speed adjustment us convenient and easy to use. However, my husband (who is very handy) had a really hard time with the instalation. It literally took him several hours of frustration to get it installed and working. He also told me that the installation design has made it so the fan will never be completely level. I can't tell to look at it, but this could cause problems later. Now that it's installed, the only thing that I think that would make it better would if the I was able to dim or brighten the light. Right now it's just on or off, no adjusting. Like I said in the title, it will work.
